What do you have to take into account when it comes to Best Value?
Less costs, better quality and more transparency are important factors to embrace the Best Value Approach [BVA] as a new philosophy. BVP has been on the rise in the government and in business in recent years. The concept seems simple: give the contractor more freedom and let the market do its work. The best suppliers will then automatically distinguish themselves at affordable rates. In practice, however, this presentation is too simple, and the effective and efficient application of the Best Value Approach is a matter for the professional.
From BVP to Best Value Approach
The transition to BVA (previously also called Best Value Procurement or BVP) does not mean that you as a client can lean back and leave everything to the contractor. In fact, a lot of performance purchasing expertise and commitment is required to apply this powerful new management paradigm. During this two-day workshop you learn how to make a successful translation from your current way of working, to the benefits of working on the basis of BVA. You have basic knowledge to put BVA into practice and you receive a certificate that shows this.
